Refineries

We operate the nation's largest refining system, with approximately 2.9 million barrels per day of crude oil capacity across 13 refineries. Our refineries are integrated with each other via pipelines, terminals and barges to maximize operating efficiency.

Midstream

Our Midstream segment primarily includes the operations of MPLX LP, MPC's sponsored master limited partnership, which transports, stores, distributes and markets crude oil and refined products via refining logistics assets, pipelines, terminals, towboats and barges; gather, processes and transports natural gas; and gathers, transports, fractionates, stores and markets natural gas liquids
